International artists exhibited their artwork together
in Seoul, South Korea. Among
these artists, Julia Oscarson showed her intimate figurative
series. With 400 people in attendance on the opening night
the artists received plenty of exposure from local newspapers
"They are honest, simple moments, pure
and definite" said Helen Kim of Oscarson's paintings.
In Spring of 2006, Julia Osarson
produced her first high quality giclee (pronouced Jhee-clay)
print for an exhibition on Salt Spring Island, Canada. The
exhibition displayed works from artists in British Columbia
who are creating fine art reproductions.
